Life is hectic, we all know that. However, no matter how busy your life may be, your health and well-being should always be your main priority. When we say health and well-being, we mean more specifically following a nutritional diet, getting quality sleep, intaking a sufficient amount of water and engaging in a good amount of exercise. Everyone needs to find a balance between work, school, social life and exercise.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has suggested that all adults should do at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity a week. Even if your schedule is too packed to commute to the gym, you can still incorporate daily movement into your life. With countless online fitness platforms that offer free workouts, there is at least one workout that will suit your needs. You may have to make some adjustments to your schedule or sacrifice some time scrolling through social media or watching T.V. to accomplish this, but it’s definitely worth it!

Here are some tips to help you make time to reach your working out goals:

1. Find a Gym That is Near You

This will make the commute less dreadful and will keep your motivation intact. If you can’t afford a gym membership, that’s okay, there are many at-home workouts to choose from. You can also run around your neighborhood, if safe to do so, or find a local park where you can run laps or do a core circuit, or even perform a HIIT workout.

2.Prepare in Advance

Pack a bag with your gym clothes and equipment to limit the amount of time going back and forth. Planning which workout you will do in advance will ensure that you are efficient at the gym and will have you leaving knowing that you had a great workout.

3. Become a Morning Person

Before you wince at this statement, hear us out. Waking up earlier and getting your workout done before walking out that door, will rid the excuse of being too tired to workout on your way back home. From a Luxe Kurves’ experience, we can definitely say that getting it done in the morning will make you feel much more energized throughout the day, and will alleviate any dread of having to workout after a long day at work. Without a doubt, it will also ensure that you will get it into your schedule without any stress.
