Same Tradition but NEW Look!
Every thanksgiving we all join around the T.V. and enjoy the singers and dancers who present themselves on these floats. Not only do they entertain us, but when you’re curled up on the rug on that Thursday morning, the feelings rush in, almost like Christmas. The idea that pretty soon you’ll be stuffing yourself up just as much as that turkey.
Or maybe you planned on taking a train down to the city and standing in line with everyone else, of course now you’d wear a mask, but you’d still have to bundle up and have your sweater zipped up to your nose with how cold it gets. What if I told you this “Macys Day Parade,” wouldn’t be anything like the years before.
If you’re anything like me you’re going to be still staying home, but this viewing is not the usual live event. Actually it’s anything but live. The performances will all be recorded prior to the event and on top of that will still have all the big floats but that’s all there will be, there’s nothing special about that, and no one is allowed to view it in person like they did the following years.
Regardless of all these changes if you’re still excited to view it, it’s Thursday November 26th at 9am on NBC. I’ll say even though everything has been switched around I will still be viewing it like I have every morning on thanksgiving with my coffee in one hand and straightener in the other. I have to look good for thanksgiving dinner but that doesn’t mean I’ll skip out on a tradition.

Overall I’m glad they did not cancel the parade this year, and for not letting Covid win. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! In the comment section below, how about you say what you’re thankful for this year. I’m thankful for my family, what are you thankful for?
