MISS NO: Can you tell our readers a little about you?
MS CAROLYN: First and upmost I am a child of God, I am a model and have been for over 35 years loving the runway so much. I am 69 years old and a wife, mother and grandmother of one daughter and one grandson who is the love of my life.
MISS NO: Define being a survivor in your own words.
MS CAROLYN: I am not a survivor I should to wear my hair Bald.
MISS NO: Do you have any survivors in your family? If so, how did you help them overcome?
MS CAROLYN: Yes I have survivors and I show them support and love and understanding and SHARE THE WORD OF GOD WITH THEM.
MISS NO: What can we do more as an industry to advocate more for our cancer and for domestic violence survivors?
MS CAROLYN: Love and More Love Support, and above all share the word of Our God and Faith
MISS NO: Can you share your experience with the late Ms. Jacqueline Chase- Hudson what she meant to you?
MS CAROLYN: Ms. Jackie always supported me and kept me on the runway and I was not a plus-size model, Jackie always made something for me to wear for her shows. Love her for being herself and I will miss her and always love and remember her.
MISS NO: What would you like her family to know?
MS CAROLYN: Jackie was KIND, LOVING, UNDERSTANDING, VERY SUPPORTED TO ALL THE MODELS
MISS NO: Why was it so important for you to be apart of this particular issue?
MS CAROLYN: To Honor my friend and to share my love for her.
MISS NO: What advice would give a young girl struggling with her self-esteem and embracing her kurves?
MS CAROLYN: You are and always will be a child of our God and that means you are BEAUTIFUL no matter what
MISS NO: What do you want your legacy to be?
MS CAROLYN: My Legacy to be that I truly honor Our God and I walk in love with everyone.
