TikTok Made Me Buy: Beauty Edition

-

In these times where most people’s entertainment is social media, it does not take much convincing to trigger impulse buyers with all the advertisements and product reviews from other social media users. TikTok has about 800 million active users and continues to grow all around the world. Many people post products they have used and loved with the world, which starts a chain reaction of thousands of people trying the products to share their thoughts and results. The products that are deemed the most successful quickly go out of stock in stores and sometimes even online! Here is a list of five TikTok-approved beauty products that everyone is raving about.

  1. The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

This product is appealing to customers because of its blood-like color and its immense amount of reviews on TikTok. Users claim that this product helps improve acne scars, skin texture, and helps brighten overall complexion. It is important to research how to use the product because too much use of this product can be harmful to the skin. This product retails for $7.20 at Ulta Beauty.

2. Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Cleansing Bar

This product is raved about for its aid in clearing up acne and acne scars in a short amount of time. The brand states that the bar is good for all skin types. The bar is a 3-in-1 treatment and is pretty affordable compared to other top products similar to this one. The bar retails at $15.00 at Ulta Beauty.

3. e.l.f Cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer

What is better than a product that does wonders? A product that does wonders AND does not break the bank. The e.l.f primer has become popular for its similarity to the expensive Silk Canvas Primer by Tatcha. This product retails for $8.00 at Ulta Beauty.

4. Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Lip Gloss

Plump lips are a trend, and this product will help get there. The Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Gloss works wonders very quickly. The gloss is a little on the pricier end, but it said to be worth it. This product retails for $29.00 at Sephora.

5. Neogen Pore Tights Peeling Mouse

This intriguing peeling mouse became popular more recently when a man shared his story about how he found it on a business trip in Korea. This product instantly removes blackheads and gunk from the pores as the product is rubbed into the skin. Other reviews have varied but judging from the TikToks it seems legit! This product retails for $28.00 at The Beauty Spy.

These are all only suggestions from what I have been seeing on TikTok; I have not tried all of these products for myself. Please make sure to do your research and see if the products will work for you and your skin before using it. Stay healthy, stay shopping!
