Summer is the season for concerts and festivals…
With students out on break, this is the time to let loose and forget about your problem—if only for a moment. But with all events happening in summer, it’s hard to narrow it down and figure out which ones you can’t miss. Well, here are a few festivals that need to be on your must-go list this July:
Pitchfork: This festival steers clear of mainstream pop stars and favors “cult favorites” and upcoming artists in R&B and indie rock. This year the festival will be held in Chicago, Illinois from July 20th to July 22nd.
FYF Fest: Located in Los Angeles, California from July 21st to July 22nd, this two-day event cannot be missed as popular artists like Janet Jackson, Florence + the Machine, and Future will be performing.
Panorama: This is known as the New York City answer to Coachella. From July 27th-29th, artists such as The Weeknd, Janet Jackson, and the Killers will be headlining the show—which will be located near Randall’s Island Park.
Lollapalooza: In Chicago, Illinois, an upwards of about 150,000 people will be enjoying this four-day music festival. From August 2nd through August 5th headlining acts such as Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, and The Weeknd will be apart of this event. This is the place all music lovers will find their favorite genres performed.
