For those that don’t know what this is, EDC is the Electric Daisy Carnival. This incredible event takes place every year in Las Vegas, Nevada, which seems fitting considering Vegas is the place to go for bright lights and a memorable time. In order to have a better understanding of exactly how this event went, we asked EDC fan, Brandon Densley, about his experience.
What was your experience like at EDC this year?
My EDC experience this year was the best one I have had in my four times attending. I chose to camp with three of my buddies from San Diego, and that was the best decision we ever made! We were able to get in to EDC within 30 minutes after a short 5 minute walk from the camp to security. I will have trouble deciding which set was my absolute favorite. My top three were Illenium, Rez, and K?D, but every set I watched was amazing. We were continually walking to different stages and it was so much fun to people-watch, check out all the smaller stages, and feel the good vibes radiating all around me. Every day was amazing. If I could go back and do it all over, I would in a heartbeat!
What would be your advice for a first-timer attending EDC?
I would advise a first time EDC’er to be prepared for lines, lines everywhere! I had not been to EDC in a couple years and I was not ready! We were in line in our car from 5p.m. until 2a.m. The next thing I would advise is to bring a hydration source! I would also suggest bringing lots of kandi bracelets to trade. The last piece of advice would be to have fun, and if you get lost don’t worry; there are plenty of wonderful humans to meet, dance, and trade kandi!
With all this great insight, we definitely say EDC was a hit again this year!
