Memories are forever………
Christmas is weeks away and this time of the year is a hard time for many. Parents trying to get every single item on their children’s Christmas list or your partner trying to outdo himself or herself from last year. Either way it is a lot of pressure and our world has been consumed with showing how much you are loved by getting material things. I am speaking from experience as well! I have been that parent who puts so much pressure on themselves to make sure my family gets everything they wanted material wise but is that really what they want?
This holiday season “Do SOMETHING DIFFERENT,” give the gift of love and memories! Show your loved ones how much they mean to you by creating a memory together. Instead of buying them the latest toy or electronic item use that same memory and take a day trip or have an arts and crafts day. Showing someone, you love them this holiday season does not need to be in a form of a material gift but a memory.
My fondest holiday memories every year my family has an annual “Gingerbread Decorating House” event. We all come together make gingerbread houses and just have fun. It is not expensive and the memory of everyone coming together stays with everyone!
This holiday season create memories with your loved ones and do not stress about material things. Memories last a lifetime while material things are forgotten about the day after Christmas!
