What are your views or thoughts about the plus size industry?
The fact that we now have a plus size industry is great I feel that it has a long way to go. But it’s headed in the right direction.
Do you feel the society accepts kurvy women?
I think Kurvy girls are accepted now in society more than ever. However I would love to see more of us in print ads and also on the runway.
How can more women celebrate their kurves this summer?
By loving on their bodies more accepting their Kurves & flaunting them with pride! It all starts with self love & acceptance.
Being a mother how important was it for you to do this shoot?
This shoot was important to me on so many levels. Being the mother of a teen Kurvy girl made the shoot even more important. I want my daughter to love herself always. It’s important for young girls to know that we come in all shapes & sizes. You don’t have to be thin to be fabulous.
Why did you want to become a fashion model?
I’ve wanted to model all of my life. . I love clothes, I love shoes, I love shopping and being pretty. I love all things pretty. But I did not have the right body type. I wasn’t tall enough nor was I thin enough.
Who are your favorite artist and fashion designers?
I have to say my favorite artists is Prince. He was and still is everything! Being a kurvy girl it isn’t always easy to find clothes that fit my kurves. Max Azria is one designer I absolutely love. His clothes hug my Kurves perfectly.
6 words the best describe you?
I’m a very SENSUAL person with an ECCENTRIC flare. Very PASSIONATE with ARTISTIC mind. POWERFUL and MAGICAL.
What is your meaning of a “Luxe Beautie?”
A beautiful, strong woman standing in her power working all of her Kurvy magic!
