WE deserve the right to wear what we want! We deserve to be who we are! We deserve to be us! Amber Rose made that very clear during her press conference on Thursday for her 2nd Annual Amber Rose Slut Walk, which took place this past Saturday in Los Angeles, CA at Pershing Square.

EMPOWERING WOMEN AND MEN is the true meaning behind the movement! A number of people lack the knowledge of the event and try to throw stones at Amber Rose and the movement without truly educating themselves.

“We have the right to wear what we want and be who we are, without being casting judgement,” “ Just because I wear what I wear does  not give anyone the right to violate me, “ said Amber Rose. We could not agree with more! The way women and men are treated because of who they are and do not fit the “Norm” of what society thinks is bullshit, yes I said it! We have to do more as a people to just love one another and to know that is also the message for the Slut Walk.

A number of women and men are sexual assaulted and their voices are silence or they don’t have an outlook to get help. During the press conference we learned that at the Slut Walk women and men have access to counseling sessions they are also provided with resources to help them deal with the pain of what was caused to them.

The press conference panel did not hold back with how they felt regarding not only the backlash that they have received but also informing the press that when a women and man says “NO” they mean “NO!”

Singer, Frenchie Davis (Co-Host of the 2nd Annual Slut Walk) pressed the issue on how important it is for us to teach our young men to respect our women and when they say “No” they mean NO!
