Spring Fashion Trends to be Happy About

Fashion Week New York Spring 2016 - 2

Spring is finally here and so are the hottest trends from NYFW.

To help you prepare for the warm weather, we have compiled the latest runway trends and where to find them.

Stripes

Whoever said that curvy women shouldn’t wear stripes, was wrong. It’s true that vertical stripes make you appear taller and thinner.  However, horizontal stripes when well proportioned can be extremely flattering as well. Fun colors like the stripe print dress offered by Ashley Stewart is ultra chic and trendy. Style tip: select a striped dress with a belt to cinch the waist.

Max Mara vs. Ashley Stewart

Sequin

Who doesn’t love to sparkle? Sequins isn’t just for New Years Eve, this seasons most daring trend is incorporating this holiday favorite into swoon worthy street style. Pairing sequins with camo or denim (also popular this season) is a definite must try.

Saint Laurent vs. Lane Bryant

Bomber jackets

The bomber jacket has made its return into fashion yet again. This time, it’s a wardrobe staple. Weather its leather, silk, or cotton, the bomber is back and better than ever. The ever so cool jacket is perfect when paired with a crop top and leggings or graphic tshirt and jeans.

Fendi vs. Asos

Floral

Spring is all about flowers blooming and floral prints are a huge trend this season. Let your style blossom with maxi dresses, floral tops, and dainty headpieces. Flower power can be a bit overwhelming so be sure to choose patterns that best compliment your tone. When mixing florals be cautious, subtlety is key. Style tip: have fun with floral prints. Dress them up with nude pumps or dress them down with sneakers.

Dolce and Gabbana vs. Rue 107

Whatever trend you decide to try this season whether its vintage chic or stripes, have fun, be daring, and slay.
