The Love ‘n Soul Experience was just that, an experience that only our hearts, minds, and soul could handle.
Words cannot describe the passion and intensity we felt when V. Bozeman walked on the stage.
Words cannot describe the passion and intensity we felt when V. Bozeman walked on the stage filled with powerful words of love, beauty, and strength. She reminded our men that as women we deserve to be treated as queens, and I couldn’t agree more. Singing songs from her new album “Music is my Boyfriend,” the crowd fell in love with her voice and style. She ended her time with what started her fame. The lights dimmed low with a single spot light. The crowd grew anxious as we heard the melody to “What is Love?” from the Empire Season One soundtrack. V. Bozeman doesn’t need a beat nor background music, her voice is everything.
I’m singing for real.Leela James
Next was the outspoken and strong Ms. Leela James. A woman of many words. She rocked the house claiming to bring “real music back.” Not having to sing with an auto tuned microphone as she called it, “I’m singing for real.” That is all we needed to hear as she belted out all of her greatest music choices. She in her right is outspoken about her people and let it be known that she loved us all but loved herself more. Relaying that message made a few people like Sarah B. and Jasmine M. from Los Angeles, CA state that, “We appreciate her music and her words. This is the second time for us seeing her perform and she is not afraid to speak her mind.”
The underground king, R&B hippie, and neo-soul rock star are just a few names he used introducing himself.
With the concert underway, we all couldn’t wait to see the headliner of the night Mr. Raheem Devaugn. The underground king, R&B hippie, and neo-soul rock star are just a few names he used introducing himself. This man is an experience on his own wearing a gold crown on the top of his head and a throne on stage becoming the king of neo-soul. This man’s voice had women screaming for more. As he sang “Guess who Loves you More?” you could feel that he meant every word he sung.
This venue is beautiful with perfect lighting and great food.
In between sets all artists took the time as the next performer was getting ready to take pictures and sign t-shirts. All three were so humbled and happy to be there with us. The Love ‘n Soul Experience Tour was held at at the Music Box, a venue San Diego is sleeping on, located in Little Italy. This venue is beautiful with perfect lighting and great food. The staff flowed without missing a beat. There were over 200 people for a sold out experience but the waitresses and bartenders still remembered your meal and drink order without notes. Amazing.
